Tissue products are light, bulky and highly compressible: a loose, dusty or damp pack looks cheap on the shelf and loses the premium feel that the brand paid for. Because tissue machines run continuously at high speed, the wrapping line downstream has to keep pace without crushing the product, while still protecting it from dust, moisture and handling damage through distribution.
For flat tissue such as napkins, facial tissue and kitchen towels, WILPAC supplies single-pack wrappers that form a tight film wrap around each stack, followed by multi-pack bundlers that group several packs in printed film or paper band. Servo indexing, adjustable stack height and gentle compression rollers keep every stack square and the embossing intact, with speeds typically between 30 and 60 packs per minute depending on format.
For rolls including toilet rolls, kitchen rolls and consumer packs of industrial rolls, WILPAC offers single-roll wrapping, 4-roll and 6-roll bundle wrapping, and both cored and core-less formats. Film tension, fold geometry and end sealing are set per roll diameter so the wrap stays tight, and printed or embossed film gives a retail-ready finish. Wet wipes and paper hand towels can run on the same platform with quick-change format parts.
A complete WILPAC paper line is coordinated with the tissue machine: log saw and folding interface, stackers, single wrappers, bundlers, case packers, checkweighers, metal detectors and robotic palletisers, all driven by recipe-based control for fast changeover between SKUs.
