Grain and cereal products are dense, dusty and sensitive to moisture and pests: a torn or under-filled bag leaks product and value, while an inaccurate weight risks rejection at the buyer or retailer. At the same time, mills and food plants move large tonnages that must be packed fast without losing weighing accuracy or hygiene.
For fine powders such as flour and starch, WILPAC supplies net-weight auger and impeller fillers that dose each valve bag or woven sack with high repeatability, then close it by heat sealing or sewing with a paper header. Dust extraction at the filling spout keeps the cell clean and protects the load cell, and de-aeration plates settle the product so bags stack square and tight.
For free-flowing goods such as rice, pulses, beans, seeds and oatmeal, WILPAC uses gravity or belt weighers that hit target weight within a few grams, then closes the bag by sewing, pinch-sealing or ultrasonic weld. For bulk, WILPAC offers FIBC jumbo-bag stations with lifting frames, spout filling and vibration densification, plus tonne sacks for export and silo discharge.
A complete WILPAC grain line links the weigher, bag presenter, filler, sealer or sewer, checkweigher, metal detector, reject gate and robotic palletiser under recipe control for fast changeover between SKUs.
