WILPAC Hardware & Fastener Packaging Lines: Counting, Weighing and VCI Protection for Bolts, Nuts and Industrial Components
Hardware, fasteners and industrial components are low-value, high-mix products: a single factory may ship thousands of SKUs in dozens of pack sizes, and every carton must contain exactly the declared quantity. Over-counting eats margin, under-counting triggers customer claims and chargebacks. Meanwhile the goods travel by sea for weeks in humid containers, so rust protection matters as much as count accuracy.
WILPAC hardware packaging lines combine vibratory bowl feeders with optical and weight-based counting modules. Small fasteners such as screws, washers and rivets are singled out, counted and dropped with +/-1 piece accuracy at speeds up to 600 pieces per minute, while larger items such as bolts, anchors and brackets run through multi-head weighers or precision dosing conveyors. A checkweigher verifies every bag or box against the target count and rejects deviations automatically.
For corrosion protection WILPAC integrates VCI (vapor corrosion inhibitor) film, VCI paper and desiccant dosing into the bagging stage, so steel parts are wrapped in a protective atmosphere before sealing. Bag formats cover VFFS pillow bags, gusseted bags, premade doypacks and vacuum bags, from 100 g hardware sachets up to 25 kg heavy-duty sacks. Film structures can be PE, PA/PE co-extrusion or kraft-paper laminates, matched to the required barrier and shelf life.
At the end of the line, automatic carton erectors, count-verified kitting stations, label applicators and case sealers build complete DIY kits and tool sets, with barcode or QR traceability for every carton. WILPAC delivers the whole chain, from feeding and counting to cartoning and palletizing, with factory acceptance testing, operator training and spare parts support. Send us your part list and target pack formats and we will design the line layout.
